During our tour in the Breccia Peak Area near Togwotee Pass today we traveled through primary easterly terrain above 10,000′. During this time we found strong evidence of weak snowpack structure. We observed this through several mediums:
1. Whomphing and collapsing in the snowpack.
2. Identifying a weak layer comprised of facets 1-1.5mm in size overridden by a 4 finger slab.
3. Easy Compression Test scores with Sudden Collapse results (Q1).
4. Propagation results in Extended Column Test in the low Moderate range(ECTP12).
It should be interesting to see how this snowpack takes any additional load. Stay tuned to the Bridger-Teton Avalanche Center and keep it safe out there.
Good info. Lucky me I found your website by chance (stumbleupon).
I have book marked it for later! https://wholegreenscbdoil.org/
